Bungalow To House Conversion – Phase 2 (Loft)

This house was taken to a from a bungalow to a 2 storey house by us back in 2015

Phase 2 of the project come 4 years later in 2019 and by adding a side dormer we created a 5th bedroom, office space and bathroom

The design included semi glass gables front and back and glazed dormer cheeks which landed in the hallway and bathroom all of which flooded the entire top floor with natural light

There were some amazing features in the conversion including solid oak stairs with glass balustrades and floor to ceiling tiles in the bathroom

After obtaining half a dozen quotes and meeting with various companies we decided to go with Concept Lofts. Not only was the quote competitive, but they explained the process really clearly and came up with the most creative suggestions as to what we could do with the space and provided us with the best plans for our needs. The work started when they said it would, was carried out by who they said and they were finished sooner than when they said they would be. The staff were clean (tidying up after themselves), polite and courteous (telling us when there was going to be banging etc. As we have young children). We really couldn’t recommend them highly enough and always offer for them to show other potential customers our loft. On a separate note, we completely underestimated the extra space gained!
