Hardworking, tidy and polite

Concept Loft Rooms Ltd were the only company to turn up on time to quote, gave a competitive price and had the ability to communicate effectively. Jake was also the only one to assure us our box room wall wouldn't need to move to make room for the stairs, all the others said we needed to move the wall and lose space in an already small room. When you are spending this much money on a project you want someone who can answer your questions quickly, be professional and efficient. I'm pleased to say Jake and his entire team were all of this. Very friendly, hardworking, tidy and polite. They are also fast and had the entire project completed within 4 weeks. We are very pleased with our new loft conversion and wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use Jake and his team again in the future.

Finished in six weeks, exactly as I wanted

Jake and his team completed a two bedroom one bathroom loft extension on my Victorian terrace house in six weeks and to a very competent standard. The finish is exactly as I wanted it and additional work was carried out on other areas of the house at a reasonable cost and within the same timescale. Jake was responsive, open to criticism and adaptable as much as he and the plans could be. I would recommend him and his team highly.

Speed and quality second to none

Excellent loft conversion! The speed & quality of the work was second to none, the team of builders was superb: helpful, reliable, tidy & polite. Jake was always at the end of the phone to answer any questions and also had loads of great ideas. The price was fair and we will use Concept Loft Rooms Ltd again in the future. Definitely recommended! We are happy to show photos if need be.

Friendly, hardworking, on time

Concept Loft Rooms Ltd were brilliant and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for loft conversions. Jake has excellent attention to detail and great practical advice, his whole team were so friendly and hardworking, finishing the work on time and far quicker than anyone else was quoting to do. We are delighted with the quality of our loft conversion, and have so many compliments on it from anyone that sees it. Thanks so much Jake and all the guys.

Their work is not only of an excellent standard but the stream of communication and receptivity has been constant throughout. What could have been daunting has turned out to be a swift and brilliantly engineered operation. I have no doubts in recommending Concept Loft Rooms Ltd to anyone who needs a quick turn around with attention to all the final details.

The fit and finish is as good as it gets

An absolute pleasure to have used, and dealt with Concept Loft Rooms Ltd for my loft conversion. They were extremely efficient in getting the job done within the timescales stated and always ensured the site was clean. The fit and finish really is as good as it gets, with some late changes to my spec being managed into the job without fuss and to an exceptionally high standard. I can and have, highly recommended Concept and will continue to do so in the future. A truly professional company that you will not regret employing.

Transformed our house

Jake did an excellent job for us, we are really happy with the way it has transformed our house! We had a few quotes and although Jake wasn't the cheapest his was the most professional and I'm glad we chose to go with him. Our quote was very detailed and the build went quicker than the schedule said which was a bonus! It was about 18 working days from start to finish for our loft which was brilliant. Jake was very informative all the way through offering up his thoughts on the layout and changes that could be made to utilise space or help the building flow better.

A builder you can genuinely trust

We decided to have a loft conversion in May 2017. After inviting 3 companies round to give us a quote, it was very clear that Concept Lofts was the choice for us. We were impressed with Jake's attention to detail and he talked through the whole process with us. Once he knew what our requirements were he sent us a floor plan within 24 hours. Jake invited us over to another property he was working on, which gave us a valuable insight into Jake's quality of work and demonstrated how generous he is with his time. On the 3rd July 2018 Jake and his team started work on our property, and by the beginning of August the Loft was constructed along with all plumbing and electrical fixes. Jake was on site throughout the construction and he and his team worked fast without compromising quality. My family love the finished project. For my wife and I, the most stressful part of the whole process was worrying about finding a competent builder that you can trust — but you won't have to worry about any of that with Concept Lofts. I recommend them highly.

Professional, punctual and reliable

We had an L-shaped loft conversion completed in 5 weeks to a very high standard. The workmen were professional, punctual and reliable. They were very respectful of my neighbours and ensured front and back of house were kept clean and tidy. First builders I have nothing negative to report. My only complaint is that they only do lofts. We would love to have them back to do other jobs. Good builders are hard to find.

Creative, competitive and on schedule

After obtaining half a dozen quotes and meeting with various companies we decided to go with Concept Lofts. Not only was the quote competitive, but they explained the process really clearly and came up with the most creative suggestions as to what we could do with the space and provided us with the best plans for our needs. The work started when they said it would, was carried out by who they said and they were finished sooner than when they said they would be. The staff were clean (tidying up after themselves), polite and courteous. We really couldn't recommend them highly enough and always offer for them to show other potential customers our loft. On a separate note, we completely underestimated the extra space gained! We wish we had done it years ago!

Perfectionists from start to finish

We are so pleased with the results of our loft conversion. From the initial phase through to project end Jake and his friendly team were exceptional and perfectionists ensuring excellent workmanship. Jake offered very good advice regarding design and the conversion project. Nothing was too much trouble, and throughout the works the team were reliable, considerate and always tidied-up at the end of each working day. Concept Lofts were very price competitive and the project was completed within the estimated timescale. We are pleased that we chose Concept Lofts and would definitely recommend them.

Did everything they said and more

After obtaining a tonne of quotes, a friend recommended Jake and his team and I'm really pleased they did. Not only was his quote competitive but he did everything that he said he would do and more. All his team are clean, tidy and polite and they also go out of their way to help you with whatever they can. I had been told by other people who had loft conversions to expect something to go wrong or for it to take a lot longer to complete than expected but I am happy to say that not only was it wrapped up within the 4 weeks quoted, but the only thing to go wrong was at our end with the flooring and they even adapted to that to make sure the build stayed on track. We can not recommend them highly enough.

Finished on time despite awful weather

We've just had our loft conversion completed by Concept Lofts (they were recommend to us by friends who had used them a couple of years earlier). Jake and his team were fantastic, they worked incredibly hard and were friendly and polite. We had some awful weather during the build (torrential rain and extreme heat) but they still managed to finish within the 5-6 week timings Jake originally gave us. Jake was easy to deal with from start to finish and always happy to answer our many questions. We're so pleased with our new loft and would definitely recommend Concept Lofts.

Phoebe Williams

The shell took less than two weeks

We were recommended Jake and his team by a local friend who also did their loft conversion a few years ago and from start to finish the entire experience has been amazing. The time for work we were given was 5 weeks and it took slightly less. The actual shell of the loft conversion took less than 2 weeks, which was incredible. So all in all, we can heartily recommend Jake and his team to anyone!

AHR

A schedule run like clockwork

Jake and his team completed my loft conversion last October and we are delighted with the result. We received a full schedule of works which was run like clockwork. All the trades are reliable, tidy and work to a high standard. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

A great job from Concept Lofts. Well designed after listening to what we wanted. Kept fully informed of all processes. Kept to a rigid timetable of 5 weeks. All snagging work requested completed with a good heart. Site was left clean and tidy on completion. Very pleased with our new room. House has been transformed thanks to Jake and his team.

Clear plan, stuck to it, excellent quality

We were more than happy with our loft conversion from Concept Lofts. Jake and his team were brilliant from start to finish — professional, friendly, and easy to deal with. We were given a clear plan and timescale at the start, and they stuck to it, completing everything within 5 weeks as promised. The quality of the work is excellent, and we're absolutely delighted with the results. Would highly recommend!

On time, on budget, well oiled machine

I was recommend Concept Lofts by a friend, and very pleased with the results. Throughout the process Jake was clear about requirements, timescales and costs. His project management meant we knew what was happening each week, who was coming and what we needed to have in place ahead of each week's work. He was happy to answer any questions or queries and always quick to reply. All of Jake's team were punctual, polite, tidy and hard working, with excellent standards of workmanship. The project finished in the 5-week time frame as planned and was on budget. I would highly recommend Concept Lofts if you are considering a loft extension.

A breath of fresh air

We were recommended Jake and his team by neighbours and we couldn't have been happier. They were always on time, worked very hard and made our lives easy. After having cowboys do our extension, they were a breath of fresh air. We would highly recommend them

Honest and a man of his word

Concept loft rooms recently completed a loft conversion for us. Completed effortlessly in 5 weeks to an exceptional standard. Would not hesitate to recommend Jake and his team for a loft conversion. Jake is extremely knowledgeable, organised, was able to navigate difficult delivery circumstances and tricky neighbours as well as accommodating a few changes to the plan. Snags were completed in that time and he left the house clean and tidy. Jake is honest and a man of his word which we appreciated.

H Serg

No nonsense quote, no little extras

Professional and efficient from the first meeting. Jake presents a detailed timetable of work and is very clear on the process. No nonsense quote that didn't have any 'little extras' added during the project. Every tradesperson he uses is polite, exceptional quality and tidy. Very little disruption in the house and barely any mess. Would highly recommend Jake and his team. All round excellent.

Recommended by my architect

I was recommended Concept Lofts by my architect and I couldn't be happier. Jake was clear, always available and gave me great confidence. I couldn't really believe that I would get the loft I dreamed of inside 5 weeks. All his tradesmen were polite and it was like a well oiled machine watching it happen. I already have recommended them to others and wouldn't hesitate to continue to do so now that my loft is finished!

Meticulous from first drawings to sign off

From start to finish concept lofts were fantastic, Jake and his team were reliable, friendly and trustworthy and no ask was too much. All of their work is meticulously carried out and finished to an incredibly high standard from the first drawings to the final sign off. He said it would be finished within six weeks and he was absolutely spot on. If you are thinking of having a loft conversion then Jake is your guy, we wouldn't hesitate to hire him again if needed and would highly recommend.

An 8-metre dormer in just five weeks

In short: we couldn't be happier. Upon deciding that we wanted to pursue a loft conversion for the first time, we spent a lot of time researching companies that could deliver the build we wanted. After a painstaking process of reading countless reviews of multiple firms (you're spending a lot of money after all) we shortlisted Concept Lofts, and we're so glad we did. From the moment we met the Managing Director, Jake, we knew that his would be the company to deliver our program. He instantly put us at ease, and his knowledge of this field shone through clearly, giving us a real sense that we were in safe hands. Jake and his team handled everything we could throw at them with professional ease - from particular design elements we were keen to achieve, to a challenging location and circumstances which meant their usual processes had to be amended somewhat. Despite this, throughout the process from design to build, nothing was too much trouble for Jake and his team. The specialist craftsmen he employs for each stage of the build were friendly and courteous (not to mention neat, tidy and efficient in their work) - and were also more than happy to share their knowledge, explain what they were doing and answer questions along the way. If that wasn't enough, the whole build program only took a mere 5 weeks to construct a 8 meter-wide dormer from start to finish, which minimised the disruption to our home and meant we could get on with making use of our new space. The bottom line is we couldn't be happier with our outcome, and we'd challenge anyone else that uses Concept Lofts to not feel the same way too. Put it this way, if we ever found ourselves needing a loft conversion in another house again in the future - there's only one company we'd call.

Measured and quoted within the week

Contacted concept lofts along with various other companies regarding a loft conversion. They responded very quickly and Jake came to measure and give me a quote within the week which was fantastic! He kept us up to date with everything that was going on and what was happening which was superb! Jake and his team made us feel at ease and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble for them. They were extremely hard working and very polite and friendly. Really pleased with the work and end product and so glad we went with them. Couldn't recommend them enough!

First class from start to finish

From start to finish Jake and his team were first class. So thorough and helpful in the planning and design process making sure we knew exactly what to expect during the project. Jake promised it would be done within a 5-6 week time frame which we thought was amazing and he did not let us down. A great team of lads, wouldn't recommend anyone else but Concept Lofts for a loft conversion.

This helped us get a comprehensive picture of what to expect and enabled us to plan effectively. The work was completed to a high standard and the team were clean, tidy, friendly and flexible. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

From scaffold up to taking down it was all done in less than 6 weeks, with the building, plumbing, electrics, carpentry and plastering of it actually taking 5 weeks which was all done exactly to the daily itinerary. Their 250th loft conversion

I was their 250th loft conversion! Concept Lofts was recommended to me by a trusted colleague. This colleague runs a building company so I knew it was an authentic recommendation. I met Jake from the company and we went from there. The communication was excellent from the outset and continues to be even though my project completed six weeks ago. His team were efficient, hardworking, respectful, skilled and experienced. I felt safe and looked after during the whole process. Jake has excellent planning skills, a loyal and dedicated team and has perfected his craft. They only do lofts, and this shows. The project took 20 working days, under the time estimated. Our building regulation certificate is already through. Highly, highly recommend.

Fiona Godfrey
